If you're reading this book, it's probably because you (and your child) have read one or more prior entries in the series. That's not necessary to enjoy the book, but, given the increasingly convoluted story line presented over the last several books involving time travel, it's easier to understand what's going on if you have some familiarity with the series. He appears in the series, where he is depicted as being incredibly ignorant and talks in a stutter by saying "yeah yeah yeah yeah." In book 12, Meaner becomes Sir Stinks-A-Lot. His name is a pun on the word "misdemeanor" or the saying "can he be meaner." Voiced by David Koechner in the TV series. In the TV series, he has an alternate ego by the name of Sargeant Boxers, which was made as a replacement for Captain Underpants in the first episode of the second season.

The next day after Sir Stinks-A-Lot caught the yesterday's version of George and Harold in the act of changing the letters on the sign he had a meeting with them later on that day after dismissing the other students. Sir Stinks-A-Lot is one of the few Captain Underpants villains who were able to defeat him, others include the Turbo Toilet 2000 and the Bionic Booger Boy (Minus Carl, Trixie, and Frankenbooger).

Captain Underpants defeats the Robo-Boogers by standing on top of John's House of Toilets (the top of the store is a giant toilet lid) and doing an annoying dance. The Robo-Boogers start to climb up the building, where they get hit by a well-placed Squishy. Soon George and Harold have to answer questions for Ingrid Ashley and her crew, but Melvin comes and lies to the Eyewitness News crew, claiming he beat the Robo-Boogers with his super-powers. Censors in the United States have been targeting the Captain Underpants series after the first book was released in 1997. However what makes me most sad is the thought that this wonderful book series has come to a credible conclusion. I am sure the recent successful film adaptation and TV show will herald more stories but, quite frankly, neither format offers the unique chance to control the action via Flip-O-Rama fight sequences. Captain Underpants has always had a very special place in my heart. I think Pilkey has crafted very amazing books, especially in helping young boys to learn to read (like myself). It is amazing reading these books as adults, there is so much hidden in there that, much like other "children" media such as Pixar movies, they are actually for "all ages".

As expected, the toilet paper does not hold. However, George and Harold's weight balances out the cape, causing it to function as a parachute and allow them to fall down slowly. As they near the school roof, Captain Underpants is grabbed by the Deliriously Dangerous Death-defying Dandelion of Doom while George and Harold land on the school roof. Hoping to save him, they reluctantly decide to give him Extra-Strength Super Power Juice. While this works, Captain Underpants‘s brand of self-deprecation has contributed to another feeling: inevitability. The evil principal Mr. Krupp was always going to hear those fateful finger snaps, and he was always going to transform into his kind-hearted, super-powered, tightie-whities-wearing alter ego. I think that while this is not the most amazing or fun Captain Underpants adventure, it is probably the most important one. To me, Captain Underpants has never been a silly fun book, but actually has a very serious point. That point is that it is okay to be yourself. Are the two main characters the smartest kids in the school? No. Are they most athletic, no. However, they are passionate about what they love, and take no apologies for that. This is such a special quality, especially since so many other uptight people want to ban the books or say they are not appropriate. I think this idea is no more evident in the book than the scene where homosexuality is mentioned. I think that this how's Pilkey's true view on life, that nothing matters except that if you are happy, and I felt this scene showed this beautifully. The following morning at school, Mr. Meaner also has robot arms and hands, having built a giant mechanical ape suit named 'The Stinky-Kong 2000'. He sprays all of the children in his classes with Rid-O-Kid 2000™, giving them all 'Attention Superfluous Lethargy Syndrome (ASLS). Mr. Krupp is delighted that Mr. Meaner has transformed all the children. Ms. Ribble asks if Rid-O-Kid 2000™ is dangerous and Mr. Meaner explains to her that it only affects children and that adults are immune to it.

He was named after Mr. Crutch from Shrimps for a Day. In the film, it is revealed that he read George and Harold's comics when he confiscated them and felt they were a little funny, which explains how he knows what Captain Underpants acts like when he is hypnotized. In the film, he is voiced by Ed Helms and in the series, he is voiced by Nat Faxon. I recommend this book and the rest of the series before it, to anyone who isn't an old-fashioned fuddy duddy or a 'Mr Krupp'. Carl, Trixie and Frankenbooger (The Three Robo-Boogers) – Boogers who all come from the Bionic Booger Boy. They all share a weakness to oranges, which Captain Underpants successfully used to destroy the rampaging trio of living mucus. Carl had the Bionic Booger Boy's legs, Trixie had the tentacles, and Frankenbooger had the arms. Whenever they eat, they become bigger and more evil.
