And, most importantly, did the Winfield 2 live up to its stellar reputation as an industry leader? Let’s find out. How you clean your luggage set depends on the material it’s made out of. For starters, all suitcases can be vacuumed. This gets rid of any beach sand or dirt you may have come across. Hardshell luggage, wheels, handles and suitcase interiors can easily be sponged down with a little dish soap and water. But you’ll need to dry them off with a lint-free towel afterward. Not with Samsonite, the pull handle on this was reassuringly strong. The Samsonite Winfield 2 is available in several colors: brushed anthracite, charcoal, deep blue, and purple. We were surprised to see that this bag only comes in deep colors and would have expected there to be a tan or white option. The suitcase is extremely light in weight. You won’t feel much weight on your arms. The nylon lining inside the case is light in weight and sturdy as well. So this won’t feel much heavy even when you have occupied all the volume inside. Water Resistant The Samsonite Winfield 2 is a great piece of luggage overall. It doesn't have one "wow" factor, but is really above average in all the standard luggage evaluation categories. It can scratch a bit due to the gloss shell, but in my mind that's not a big deal. In this review, I will consider the suitcase from a number of angles. By the end, you will be in doubt about what to expect.
