About this deal

Place the rotary axis in an appropriate position on the table, and connect the machine Y-axis motor cable to the rotary axis stepper motor. Adjustment of shaft spacing: The shaft spacing can be adjusted steplessly by sliding, and it can be fixed by hand-tightening screws. original scale high-precision engraving: SCULPFUN roller adopts high friction 70A rubber shaft to prevent slipping, and the linear speed of the rotating surface has been precisely calculated. Directly plug in the engraving machine cable to engrave the original image in 100% original scale. Does not enlarge or reduce the image.

Huge engraving space and 4 raising feet: SCULPFUN roller base design is lower and stable, and equipped with 4 sturdy metal raising feet, so that it has a larger engraving diameter of 6-150mm, which can meet more engravings. need. Metal feet are more solid than plastic feet, and the machine is more stable when engraving. If you have a Sculpfun S9, you can upgrade it to the improved x-axis mechanism from Sculpfun S10 with THIS UPGRADE KIT. The steps/mm are set appropriately for the rotary in the firmware: in this case, the value corresponds to the diameter multiplied by pi (i.e., the exact circumference of a roller). Since the steps per mm are correct, a direct relationship is given. So: “mm per rotation = roller diameter * Pi”.

Highlights

The options are described in the LightBurn documentation, but it is a bit hard to understand there for non-technical users, I guess. As mentioned, when you press Test, the roller rotates the small rollers once 360 degrees. So, the object (that might be lying on it) doesn’t even move all the way around (as long as it is larger than the diameter of the driven rollers).

Set the steps per millimeter (“steps/mm”) correctly (firmware). The LightBurn assistant is not required and is not activated. The Rollers can be set at 5 different distances, each one 15mm further than the last. The adjustable range is 30-90mm. Here is another video that explains some additional things for the workflow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wL6tXOupQgo (LA Hobby Guy). But the “saving and loading settings”– stuff is not required if you follow my tip using macro buttons. Example Compatible software: Lightburn, LaserGRBL, Benbox, GrblController, LiteFire, etc. There is no need to set up software because the surface linear velocity of the roller is the same as the original Y-axis velocity.Test fire your laser at a low power, 5% or less, and make sure that your laser is focused to a tiny point. Rotary as delivered by comgrow (plus a small manual and a small height adjusting piece to enable engraving wine-glass-shaped objects) There is a bar that says "type gcode here," select it, type the following depending on which step you followed previously:
