About this deal

That said, it doesn't produce that much heat, so it's more decorative than functional. You can absolutely use it to make s'mores, but it won't radiate that much heat on a cold night. It’s not recommended to build around a Solo Stove as it can obstruct ventilation and increase the risk of fire. It’s not recommended to put a Solo Stove in a fire pit as it can obstruct ventilation and increase the risk of fire. The first Solo Stoves, which we tested, require being turned over to empty out the ash. The newer models now come with a removable ashtray that makes cleanup easier but will cost you a little more. DUAL FUEL PERMITS VARIOUS USE: Mesa can run on more than one fuel source since it is designed to do so. You have the option to burn with pellets or any available fuel thanks to the integrated pellet burner adaptor. Whether you’re burning wood or pellets, Mesa’s flames will burn extremely hot thanks to its signature 360° Airflow.

is small enough to sit on an outdoor dining table or end table, allowing you to bring a mini fire with you wherever you go. I spent a few weeks testing the pint-sized fire pit. Here's how it went. About the Solo Stove Mesa Tabletop Fire Pit Outdoor fire pits like the Solo Stove are an excellent way to extend summer days long into the night or even into the colder months. They provide light, warmth and (most importantly?) an area for people to gather around and make s'mores! Some come with the ability to grill over an open flame as well. In terms of safety, Mesa’s small size and tabletop format brought me peace of mind when my kids were gathered ’round it. Whereas I’m typically a bit of a helicopter mom around Solo’s bigger firepits, I was much less worried about a kiddo grazing a knee on the firepit’s piping hot exterior or tripping and falling directly into it. Sure, it still got very hot, but with the Mesa, the kids were further away and safely leaning against a table as they roasted their marshmallows.ADD A POP OF COLOR TO YOUR TABLE TOP MEAL EXPERIENCE: Mesa is a tabletop fire pit that adds warmth to the table and is ideal for urban and garden settings. The Mesa is a more smaller version of our famous Solo Stove Fire Pits, making it ideal for terraces, balconies, and tiny gardens. Mesa is a dynamic centrepiece that improves the appearance of your area. It was thoughtfully designed with new seasonal hues. The Solo Stove Mesa is adorably small. Prior to the launch of Mesa, Solo Stove's smallest fire pit (the Ranger) weighed 15 pounds and was just over a foot tall by a foot in diameter. That's decently portable, but the Mesa blows it out of the water at only 1.4 pounds. It was a tight fit to get the lighter into the unit to ignite the starter cube, and we would have appreciated it if the opening was a little wider. Choosing an Outdoor Grill, Chiminea, Fire Bowl, Outdoor Fireplace or Fire Pit from one of these brands will give you years of enjoyment! You absolutely do not want to touch the fire pit for at least 30 minutes after it's extinguished (and it was still warm to the touch up to an hour after the flames went out).

Yes, a Solo Stove can be used on grass, concrete, or outdoor rugs, but it’s important to place a protective pad or heat shield underneath the stove to prevent any damage to the surface. Through the bottom vent holes of MESA, rising hot air is drawn in and distributed throughout the fire. Air fans blow an extremely hot flame into your burn chambers’ upper vent ports to reduce smoke. Protect Your Table The same feature I loved about the Mesa is one of the features I don't like about it. While the portability is great, the Mesa is just a little bit too small to be functional for warmth purposes.

Features

Mesa can run on more than one fuel source since it is designed to do so. You have the option to burn with pellets or any available fuel thanks to a pellet adaptor that is included. Whether you’re burning Solo Stove Mini Oak Firewood or wood pellets, Mesa’s flames will burn extremely hot thanks to Signature 360° Airflow. Easy To Light

The larger MesaXL can fit chunks of wood up to 5 inches in size. Not only was it easier to find wood that fit the stove, but the wood burned for longer than the pellets, so I only had to add a new piece every 15 minutes or so, which made for a more relaxing experience. That's where the second fuel option comes in handy. To use wood pellets, simply place the Mesa's included pellet adapter into the unit before filling with pellets. With the included stand, this tabletop fire pit can be used on any outdoor table surface (although Solo Stove recommends against using it under a canopy, patio umbrella, or gazebo). The Mesa is for outdoor use only, so please do not try to use it indoors at your kitchen table. You can, however, use it on outdoor dining tables and end tables. Additionally, the Mesa should always be used on stable surfaces and with its stand to keep the surface from overheating. You shouldn’t use the Mesa on heat-sensitive surfaces, as hot air may gather underneath. How long does the Mesa burn?
