That pseudo love triangle? Don’t even get me started. That was so dumb. And that was the only thing I thought this book got going for it seeing as everything else seems to be a repetition of what already came in previous books. But NOPE. The book opens with it annnnd guess what, it effing ends with it too. So the whole book was there to... what? AVOID dealing with it? Really?

Compared to the other books I was expecting something pretty huge to happen but it didn’t and everything just kinda worked itself out. The story line also jumps forward a lot which was necessary I suppose for the story but a bit of a pet peeve for me. This was the case for the epilogue as well which I felt was super rushed but a HEA none the less! The heroine(s): Quincey Royas - Principle ballerina at the Seattle Ballet. Her father owns the Royas Casino which is said to be mob connected. After Valerie died, Quincey got custody of 12 month old Nova.The Love Story: Six months after getting custody of her niece Nova, Quincey meets Nate to tell him about his daughter. She (and her father Duke), want Nate to give up his parental rights. However, Nate takes both the fact that they waited six months and their request to sign away his rights as an act of war.

She mumbled everything.There was so much in this book about family and Nate’s family is really his group of friends. The following were all included quite a bit in this book: Nate’s actual sister Aspen and her boyfriend Blaise, Logan Kade and girlfriend Taylor, Mason Kade and Samantha, Matteo and Grace, Channing and Heather, as well as Nate’s friend and Quincey’s half brother Graham along with his girl Britney. I just love how this gang is together and such great friends. Their relationship is so pure and so beautiful, that I couldn't let go of this book even for a second! This wonderful little gem can be read as a stand-alone, but if you haven't read any of the other series, you should really give them a go. I also think it would be more enjoyable to at least read the Crew series first, but that is just my humble opinion ;) Mason, I just fall more and more for him. He is soo understanding, giving Sam her space when she needed, and loving her. k first of all, what is up with all this voyeuristic, OW shit i've been reading this month. seriously 😭 this is the THIRD book i've read this month alone with this trope and i hate it. someone. help.

This wrung out ALL THE FEELS, a time or two I even got teary eyed! These two were perfection, and perfectly perfect for each other! Oh how I adored this story!! As for that love interest… I’m not telling. I know there will be some spoilers on who she is, so you can get them elsewhere. I liked her for the most part. She wasn’t what I was expecting. There were some weird vibes that I won’t explain and didn’t love, but her story combined with Nate’s worked for me. They had an instant chemistry, and I enjoyed the buildup of their relationship.I led the way off the patio and to a corner of the yard.
