About this deal

Ah thats a shame about Neverboard, I wondered why they hadn't been posting up on facebook recently. I only used them occasionally though.

Disclaimer: Wargames Atlantic sent me a copy of these miniatures for review. As a note, I also reviewed these on YouTube and there is an imbedded video at the end for those interested in watching my thorough review. The Box Art Now that you have seen what I did with just the contents of the box, let’s look how how Codex d’Araden combined them with other products to make some unique minis. Kitbashing by Codex d’Araden Faction of Demons (Im not in love with them, but a lot of players could be attracted to Oathmark with it, and I think thatOathmark could be real successorof WHFB, but only if every former player finds a place for his army...)

With this comment out of the way, I want to say that the artwork is awesome and I found very few other errors. A small thing here and there, but not much else. Lets assume, that all of my tips will prove to be true, whatwill be still missing? Here is a list of the units (so no characters, no monsters, no artillery) from the books, which would be still needed: These seems to be confirmed by fresh news on Wargameterrain: "We will have a regular release schedule for plastic Oathmark figures this year, including: Human Cavalry, Dwarf Light Infantry, Revenants, Orcs and Goblin Lt Infantry."

I think Persian and Afghan bits will probably mix pretty well with halflings, with a little creative modeling for some of the two-handed weapons - the key thing to bear in mind is that halfings have very short arms, so you'll probably want to trim off the halfling hands and human arms, and glue human hands onto halfling arms to make the weapons swaps work.

When it comes to painting, splash some off-white on those bones and paint the weapons and armour up in bronze (with a little bit of weathering!) and you'd have a fine army finished in no time. First, all races get to field chariots! As long as you have the right territory, that is. So chariot lovers that dislike playing undead will be happy with this book for this reason alone. The sculptor of these figures, Michael Anderson, actually built and painted his own miniatures. They look really good. Let’s take a look at what he did with them. A small Oathmark skeleton infantry group. The skeletons as archers. Skeleton Warriors with a mix of hand weapons and spears. A close up of a great looking skeleton guard. Special Figures So instead of an army list this book offers bits and pieces to enrich your games, play on a different (wetter!) kind of table for a change and play campaigns. Casting is well done, options are broad. It could come with another banner top or an option for a musician (no, we're not going to join the discussion if skeletons can toot, just give them a drum), but that's pretty easy kit bashed or substituted from on of the other plastic kits. As mentioned above, I really like the generic nature of this kit, making it very versatile. And I am a huge fan of replacing the heads with the citadel ones.
