About this deal

Please note : The 1.6m relates to the length of the slope, therefore the horizontal projection will vary dependant on the selected roof pitch. The red section is the aluminium sub-cill with the grey section above being a typical aluminium window profile. The light blue sections are the thermally efficient barriers (thermal breaks). Cills without thermal breaks cannot be used on your home, just on some commercial type projects. Many thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I was somewhat unclear so sorry. I have attached an image to show what I mean more clearly.

Threshold: This door comes with a standard point; you can upgrade to Low Aluminium Threshold in the options above. Cill options are available. The eaves beam cleverly double’s as an integral box gutter utilising the support posts as down pipes with the rain water exiting through the variable height post feet. The other two points were that the sill end caps were not fitted as whole ends but cut and sealed for just the part visible externally. Again I would have done this different but told this doesn't matter as it is a sealed chamber in the sill . Is this an issue? The system can be supplied in modular kit format (please see size matrix) as well as bespoke sizes and configurations. The Evolution Canopy is an exciting new system, encompassing a modern design with clean sight lines providing ease of installation. In addition, its high structural performance ensures this system is an ideal choice for domestic, DIY and commercial applications. The system is manufactured in maintenance free powder coated aluminium in white as standard with any RAL no. colour available at extra cost and lead time. I just wanted to continue from this thread as it not too old and also most relevant I could find (and has an image I refer to) so hope that is ok to do. From a functional perspective, R9 windows are distinguished by their nine-chamber design. This configuration ensures superior thermal performance and sound insulation, providing a high degree of comfort for homeowners. The windows are available with double or triple glazing, with triple glazed units achieving impressive U-values as low as 0.8 W/(m2k). This level of energy efficiency is particularly beneficial for homeowners looking to reduce their energy consumption and contribute to a greener future. Moreover, the robust construction of R9 windows ensures exceptional durability, promising long-lasting performance that your customers can rely on. The Sill is not attached to the frame at all. When I said I fitted the sill first I meant on a bed of mortar not to the frame sorry.

The canopy is glazed with 16mm triple wall UV stabilised polycarbonate sheeting offering greater flexibility in canopy design with enhanced strength and rigidity, available in clear, bronze or opal tints.

You say the sill was attached to the frame before fitting. If it was screwed from underneath, you will need to take the whole frame out and sort it properly. The red section is the aluminium extension cill with the grey section to the right being a window profile. The light blue sections are the thermally efficient barriers (thermal breaks). The kits are supplied with all the fixings and sealants required for a standard installation and also includes a comprehensive fitting guide. Plan of action if screwed through frame. Remove screws, reposition sill. If the front gap of 6mm appears, you can fill with loads of silicone all the way along and re-screw tight. Silicone will squash out, clear excess(especially drain holes area. Then make sure sill is supported underneath, and silicone all the way down side of frame and over sill(get some in that little gap than runs to the wall under frame on top of sill.
