We know the hero is going to come rescue her anyways. They're gonna kiss, he's gonna say "you're mine" or some shit like that and it's done. My point is: there's nothing exciting about it. It's like reading the same thing over and over again. If you love tropes like br33ding, daddy’s best friend and an age difference (around 18 years), this is 100% for you! Hold on to your panties because this book is very hot.

Safety - this is fairly safe, in my opinion. The h wants H to kiss her in prologue but he shuts her down since she’s underage. 2 years later she walks in on her boyfriend banging another woman. It wasn’t serious between her and the boyfriend and she’s pissed but not hurt. She’s “done stuff” with the boyfriend but obviously still a virgin at that point. BTW... this book is kinda ended up in cliffhanger so I mean the real main villain/maybe we called it mastermind is still out there, well I get it since this will be a series.

The godawful cover! The guy on the cover looks like like an emo kid in HS, but he’s supposed to be a rugged 36 year old. One of my biggest pet peeves is when there’s a person on the cover but they don’t match the description of the characters. This book is deliciously dark with just a bit of taboo. I loved Fallon as a heroine. She’s tough, she has a fake persona that she puts on for the world at school, and she’s the perfect daughter of a mafioso. Cole is delightfully dark and disturbed, and he’s known for a while now that he plans to make Fallon his. This is a dad’s best friend romance, and he’s a little worried that his friendship with his best (and, well, only) friend will be damaged by the fact that he plans to marry his daughter asap. Fallon has always been in love with her dad's best friend, Cole. On her 16th birthday she asked him to give her her first kiss but he said no. Two years later, Fallon is abruptly engaged in an arranged marriage to Cole's enemy. As soon as she turns 18, Cole goes after her with everything he has. The story does more to generate interest in the rest of the characters and desperately makes me explore their own stories right away. I think I see where Tristan will end up if I read that scene correctly of course. I couldn’t put this one down! I was hooked from the opening paragraph and read it in one sitting. It was fast paced with plenty of sexy times and a suspenseful plot. Be aware of the TW because this is a dark romance!Fallon has had her heart set on Cole, her father’s best friend, since she was about 16 years old. The day she turned 18, he showed her that she was his despite an arranged marriage that was to take place between Fallon and Anton. Anton is a snake in the grass and part of a gang the Savage Six are trying to negotiate with. I liked that Fallon and Cole were confident and knew what they wanted. There was no unnecessary drama in their relationship. In so many books, characters miscommunicate and walk away when the whole problem could be solved with a simple conversation. Fallon and Cole just said what they thought, and I thought that was refreshing. I’ll admit a lot of this is corny. Small town billionaires in a secret society that runs like a criminal organization. Members of the Savage Six are described repeatedly to be the most badass, unstoppable, powerful men to ever grace the earth. It’s a bit much and it definitely takes itself very seriously however if you don’t take it too seriously and you like Hs like Cole you’ll enjoy this too. He called her Little Lamb, but for me she's not even a lamb... well she might be a lamb if you compare it to Cole but among her friends she is the definite example of how wolf would be. Beautiful Carnage is what is my heart and I think the author did an amazing job at that. This book was incredible and messed up which is quite similar to how I like it.
