Cutting Heights– If you want to change the cutting height this isn’t too hard. There’s three different height settings and a range of 20mm to 60mm. Now 20mm isn’t really, really short – so if you like a short finish on your lawn this won’t do the job.20mm is a perfectly tidy finish though. Anyway to adjust the wheels you just simply move the front and rear wheels. The axle of the wheels slots into 3 different grooves which determine the cut height. The adjustable handle of the EasiMow 300R is well-received by users, as it allows for personalized comfort and ergonomic positioning during operation. Users appreciate the flexibility to adjust the handle to their preferred height, ensuring a more comfortable mowing experience.

The only downside to the safety of this lawnmower was the means to adjust the cutting height. So when I discovered the Flymo EasiMow 340R, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and give it a try. The Flymo EasiMow 340R is a nifty, lightweight little lawn mower that has seriously impressed me. It’s not a mower that’s got the most features and cutting functions in the world, but it’s got more than enough to deliver a fantastic cut. For example, a rear roller and cut to edge which adds that little extra something to make your lawn stand out from the rest. Starter Lever– At the top of this handle you have the starter mechanism for the mower. There are a couple of triggers with a push button located in between them. It’s a real simple to use design. Not the comfiest but nevertheless it works well.

The design of the Flymo Easimo is light, comfortable and ergonomic. This makes for easy operation as well as better accuracy. The 29-litre grass box is reasonable for a small to medium garden and will keep the machine light without you having to empty it every few minutes. The grass is compacted to maximise the use of the grass box space. The cable length is fairly standard 10 metres, so if you need more you will require an extension cord. Since the two most marketed features of this lawnmower are its close edge-cutting abilities and built-in rear roller, these were the features I wanted to focus on the most.The 30cm cutting width and adjustable cutting height ranging from 20mm to 60mm contribute to a neat and tidy finish to your lawn. In terms of performance, the Flymo EasiMow 300R had no trouble trimming a small area of grass that had low-to-medium growth. There are 3 cutting heights available and I used the highest setting of 60 mm. Foldable Handles The Flymo EasiMow 340R runs on a 1400 watt motor. This is a nice amount of power for an electric mower of this size, so you can feel confident that it’ll get the job done efficiently.

Everything fitted together nice and easy. When it comes to the handles, they simply screw together with a twist cap, so there’s no need to use a screwdriver or any other tools. On the left side, the caps were different from the right. This makes it possible to wrap the cable around the left-hand side after use, which is a handy feature. The Flymo EasiMow 340R, the 300R and 380R, are fitted with a rear roller. As I mentioned earlier, this makes it a much more stable piece of equipment, but that’s not the main function of this part. The rear roller allows you to create a striped lawn so if you want a more traditional looking garden, you can do this with ease. The rear roller also makes the mower more stable particularly when cutting close or over the edge of flower beds. The mower does a good job of collecting these clippings too. The grass box is a little flimsy though and when lifting it up with a full load of clippings inside, the handle can come off! You can fix this easily by putting a couple of self tapping screws into the handle though and it’s something I’d recommend you do just to re-enforce it. Nobody wants the handle to come off the grass box when there’s a full load inside!I like the fly mow lawnmowers this one is big enough for me, and it cuts really well. Good value for money. Not really enough cable unless you have a very small garden and if you have the grass box more than half full the handle pulls out should be instructions to glue it to the box Because the Flymo EasiMow 300R is designed for smaller lawns and claims to have precise edge-cutting abilities, I wanted to put this to the ultimate test – seeing whether it could achieve a close cut around the raised sleepers and tight corners in my garden. In addition, it has a durable metal cutting blade for long life, a generous sized 10 meter cable, weighs only 8.4kg and has three adjustable cutting heights ranging from 20-60mm.
