About this deal

The Pro 2 2000 is supplied with a CrossAction brush head, which effectively disrupts and lifts plaque and debris from the teeth, as confirmed by my plaque disclosing tests. I am more than impressed. The highest brushing mode 'Daily Clean' was pretty intense. Preferred the lower setting called 'Gum Care'. The sleek handle of the Pro 22000 electric toothbrush helps you brush like your dentist recommends: as the in-built timer helps you brush for 2 minutes, and notifies you every 30 seconds to change the area you are brushing. Whilst nobody can provide complete assurances of reliability, there is little reason to have concern here. The Pro 2 feels solid in hand. I’ve used this and similar brushes for many years without issue.

This is certainly satisfactory and far from the worst. But, for a leading brand it’s not unreasonable to expect a bit better. The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 review was last updated March 2019 to reflect the changes in the Oral-B range. Please note that you can only buy this electric toothbrush in the UK. I hope you enjoy the read. The Pro 1000 on the other hand has not been officially launched in the UK. This means that if you do find it available it tends to have been imported from the USA. With the all new lithium ion battery the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 will now last upto 2 weeks. This means that it gives about 56 minutes of brushing time. This is brilliant for a budget electric toothbrush and is on par with the more expensive Oral-B Genius 8000 and 9000 and the Philips Sonicare. While you move the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's unique round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush, helping you to achieve healthier gums and a whiter smile, as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains. The Pro 2 2000 on the other hand has a Li-Ion battery that lasts at least 14 days on a single charge. The Pro 1000 has a more minimalistic design. A small rubber grip around the power button compared to the large rubber grip running the full length of the Pro 2 2000’s handle. what about the number of oscillations, pulses etc. Do they make a huge difference? I read somewhere that the minimum to go for should be pro 2000 as it has 40,000 pulses per min. + 8,800 sweeps/oscillations .

It is a strong performer that cleans the teeth well. We rate it as the best overall electric toothbrush. I'm trying to figure out which model toothbrush I have, which is very difficult since the same model codes have different specs in different countries....GDC number: 259369. Gemma qualified from Cardiff University School of Dentistry with BDS(Hons) in 2015. Because the heads are interchangeable, if you have a preferred style, it can be fitted to the handle, even if it does not come in the box. Please note. Every effort is made to ensure the key differences listed are correct, but these differences are subject to change without notice. Products and the box contents can be changed without notice and different variants can exist. The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is waterproof which is essential on an electric toothbrush because it will be around water a lot. You can use the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 in the shower although it is best to brush in front of a mirror and concentrate on brushing. 2) Mechanism of Action: Oral-B Pro 2 2000 Electric toothbrush review

The quadpacer 2 minute timer featured on the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 2 is an on handle timer that “buzzes” every 30 seconds to let you know when to change areas of the mouth. It is a simple and ingenious way of letting you instinctively know when your 2 minutes of dentist recommended brushing is up. A visible timer would be useful aswell to know exactly how long you have been brushing for. You can get this by using the sound recognition from the Oral-B App which is available from Itunes and Google play although is not as reliable as Bluetooth connectivity. Visible Pressure sensor I like the slim and grippy handle. The 2 week battery life is satisfactory and, most importantly, it does a good job of cleaning your teeth. weeks is the typical usage time you can expect from a lot of electric brushes today. The Pro 2 2000 falls a bit short with a claimed life of around 2 weeks. I averaged 16 days in my testing. The staple cleaning mode in all Oral-B Electric toothbrushes ( except the Oral-B Vitality). This mode oscillates 8,800 times and pulsates 40,000 times per minute. The daily clean mode lasts for 2 minutes which is what I recommend to my patients. Gum Care mode

She went on to complete her Foundation Training and a further two years in the Armed Forces, primarily based around Wiltshire. While you are just moving the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's unique round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains. Not only this, but the toothbrush helps you protect your delicate gums with the proprietary pressure control technology that reduces brushing speed and alerts you to be gentler if you brush too hard. With the Pressure Sensor Oral-B Pro 2, 2000S toothbrush, is the must have brush for everyone who wants to switch to an electric toothbrush and improve their oral health. No wonder Oral-B is the #1 recommended brand by dentists worldwide. To access this additional mode, you have to press the power button an extra time each time you use the toothbrush. The Pro 2 defaults to the daily clean mode. The Oral-B Pro 2500 trumps the other two by coming with a travel case. I find a travel case extremely useful to protect the oral-b pro 2500 when on my travels. In a funny way it makes me want to bring the Oral-B Pro 2500 just because it has the travel case. Verdict: Portability
