About this deal

A very well put together and varied portfolio covering a wide range of practitioners and techniques. Neptune is the Roman name for the Greek god Poseidon, and it is of Poseidon that we should be thinking here, for the builder of the first ship was the hero Jason: a Greek, and wily, not unlike Odysseus. Step 1 "Animated" : The FATE pain. Pro tip : do them on BLU with a FATE spell setup ( the idea& a full spellset). And have ShB relic Step 2 (Tortured/Sorrowful/Harrowing Memories) active while grinding this step ! I was born in a country of brooks and rivers, in a corner of Champagne, called Le Vallage for the great number of its valleys. The most beautiful of its places for me was the hollow of a valley by the side of fresh water, in the shade of willows...My pleasure still is to follow the stream, to walk along its banks in the right direction, in the direction of the flowing water, the water that leads life towards the next village...Dreaming beside the river, I gave my imagination to the water, the green, clear water, the water that makes the meadows green. ...The stream doesn’t have to be ours; the water doesn’t have to be ours. The anonymous water knows all my secrets. And the same memory issues from every spring.”

Bozja/Eureka/Hunts/Roulettes will give you more than you'll ever need.I find him a useful portal into the ways language works upon us. He’s detailed, but also unapologetically intuitive. He writes firmly from his own sense of his imagination. His work is profoundly personal. I find it beautiful.

A chapter of Figures Traced in Light devoted to Louis Feuillade and the cinema of the 1910s has been translated into French in the latest issue of Les Cahiers du Musée national d’art moderne, no. 112–113 (Summer/Autumn 2010). The entire issue is devoted to cinema, with spectacularly illustrated essays on Demy, Godard, and other filmmakers. My old friend Jacques Aumont has an excellent piece on Werner Schroeter’s Death of Maria Malibran and Carmleo Bene’s Salomé. My thanks to Jean-Pierre Criqui for his kind invitation to participate in this issue. [4.Nov.10]What surprised me most was just how sharp some of the results were. If you are one of those people who characterise pinholes as generally blurry or having an out of focus look, think again. In this particular photograph of Achnambeithach at the bottom of the three sisters, the detail in the house is quite incredible considering there is no lens involved. Pro tip : have a dedicated gearset+shortcut to equip the job+ARRrelic you're currently farming books on. Laziness at its peak. You will use that shortcut a lot : it's a marathon. Put the current book on a hotbar, as well. In response to this program, Kahn created a contextual building and modestly established a setting for artwork. Yet, at the same time, the refined detailing transforms industrial materials like concrete and stainless steel into elegant surfaces that go well with white oak, Belgian linen, and priceless works of art. Another Wright image comes from her Civil War Redux series; she followed re-enactments of the American Civil War over 13 years. This image, 2nd Manassas: Women & Parasols (above), mirrors vintage photographs in using sepia tones, but the composition also reminds me of Impressionist painters’ views of families enjoying the Normandy beaches. In this instance, though, the women are at the edge of the battlefield, so it is a sombre subject.
