In place of the bottled, red-dyed grenadine, we made a similarly looking, all-natural Strawberry Rose Syrup. Our syrup adds a sweet berry flavor and subtle floral note. The Spring-inspired flavors compliment a nice, silver tequila and fresh-squeezed orange juice quite well! silver tequila - Silver tequila, or blanco tequila, has a much more versatile flavor profile than gold or aged tequilas, also called reposado or anejo. Since we want the main flavor of the tequila to be strawberry forward, silver works best for this! Add the tequila, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and a small pinch of sea salt, and fill the shaker ¾ with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
