About this deal

I loved seeing some of our favourite characters from previous stories and some of my favourite scenes were the boys - Lucian, Knox & Nash and the girls - Sloane, Naomi & Lina. Found family is a common theme in many of Lucy Score’s books and you get more of this in Things We Left Behind. You are always my business. You always have been and always will be. The only difference is now you know it” Sloane Walton is a spitfire determined to carry on her father’s quest for justice. She’ll do that just as soon as she figures out exactly what the man she hates did to—or for—her family. Considering how long yet incredibly delightful Lucy Score’s romance books are, I can’t imagine how fast she’s writing to catch up. However, the major takeaway aside from her upcoming release is the title for Lucian and Sloane’s story. Castiel once again wears a tie. This is the first time since he discarded Jimmy Novak's clothes in I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here that he has worn a tie. However, after he no longer needs it, he discards it again.

Sloane Walton is a fiery young woman who is committed to continuing her father’s fight for fairness. She plans to do so once she learns what the man she despises did to (or for) her loved ones. Sloane trusts Lucian about as far as she can throw his designer-suited physique because they share a dark secret from their history and hate for one other. A twitch of fur caught my eye, and I spotted Meow Meow hidden behind the drapes in the front window. It’s from our tree. I figured since you gave each kid a cutting that you should have something from it that you can enjoy all year-round.” Sloane and Lucian are really well-rounded characters. Sloane’s relatability is endearing, and I couldn’t help but root for her aspirations of building a family. Lucian, despite his occasional exasperating moments, is a character I couldn’t help but look up to. Their rollercoaster of a relationship had me on the edge of my seat throughout!I couldn’t wait for this third book to be released and it was more perfect than I could have predicted. Crowley: She was a horrible mother. Did I tell you the time she almost traded me for 3 pigs? Three! I was an attractive child, I could juggle. That's worth 5 pigs at least. You’re wired to want a man who’s going to live up to every one of those heroes you read about. The ones who fight for their woman, who drag her off into dark corners because they can’t stand not touching her a moment longer. The ones who would do anything for her. That’s what you want.”

From the very beginning, I needed to jump into the minds of Sloane and Lucian. Sloane’s librarian persona with its underlying sensuality was utterly captivating, and Lucian swiftly became my favorite leading man among Lucy’s literary creations. He flawlessly combines the gruffness of the Morgan men with a heart of gold, especially when it concerns Sloane. The glimpses into their shared teenage past were also a really nice touch! As my beautiful wife pointed out, if we’d done our job right, Caden would be a well-adjusted, productive adult who knew what he wanted. So far, her prediction appeared to be accurate. Even Emry, who was in the family room with his wife, Sacha, wearing a Hanukkah sweater and explaining the dreidel to Nash’s twins, assured me that they seemed like a happy, healthy couple.

It smelled… Heavenly wasn’t the right word. Delectably dangerous. The man’s scent was an aphrodisiac.” One woman alone held the key to my freedom. If I had to ask Sloane Walton for something, I would rather light myself on fire. Lucian Rollins is a lean, mean vengeance-seeking mogul. On a quest to erase his father's mark on the family name, he spends every waking minute pulling strings and building an indestructible empire. The more money and power he amasses, the safer he is from threats. I’ve been waiting for this book… ever since TWNGO came out, I became extra invested in whatever the h happened between Lucian and Sloane to create so much tension and animosity…

At the Men of Letters bunker, Dean is watching The Three Stooges on a laptop laughing very hard, obviously faking it. Sam comes and joins in, giving Dean a grilled cheese sandwich, with Dean enjoying it a little too much. Sam looks over at the Mark of Cain and it looks like it's only gotten worse, but Dean continues to enjoy the video despite this. Similar to how he's dealt with pain before, he tries very hard to hide it from his little brother. I said it from the first time Lucian was mentioned in TWNGO that he was going to the the end all be all for me and I was 100000000000% right. He was perfect, Dirty, Morally grey and everything in between. We’d kept my place in the city, but it had taken buying a monstrous place in the Outer Banks to get Sloane to truly slow down. Every year, we wrangled the entire extended brood into a two-week beach vacation. The kind I’d always dreamed of as a kid. With bonfires and fireworks and lazy days spent getting too much sun.I stroked my hand over her hair, currently a silver blond. It really did. My semiretirement hadn’t been the bump I’d expected it to be. Nolan and Lina had been promoted. The unbearably chipper Holly had moved in next door to us in my old house with her new husband to work with Sloane’s foundation. Between the library and her foundation, Sloane continued to amaze me with her generosity and tenacity. This is the second time he’s completely abandoned her. She will never give him another chance. He’ll have to improvise something to suit his needs. About The Author Lucy Score
