About this deal

You co-creator Sera Gamble was inspired to make Joe a teacher in Season 4 because you told her several years ago that you envisioned him in a college setting. Did you always imagine he’d be a student instead of a teacher? A short recap of my reactions to Joe Goldberg and the You book series and Netflix adaptation. SPOILERS ABOUND. The times I use the word boring -probably too many times. I am sorry. Joe's at Harvard now and is looking to step his toes into writing. And if he so happens to find love while he's there? Well, Wonders never cease. Oh, he might also have to kill a few people, but what else is new? Joe as much as I have followed you from New York, to Washington , to Florida and then to Massachusetts I’m done. It was a great trip but I might have to drop off Eve Austin as Gemma: A tone-deaf and privileged member of a privileged circle of friends who met at Oxford.

Many thanks to NetGalley, Random House, and Caroline Kepnes for an ARC of this book! Now available as of 4.25!!** Tilly Keeper will play Lady Phoebe, an aristocratic socialite and frequent tabloid favourite with an avid fan base. Phoebe is Adam's girlfriend, and her true colors show when she’s alone with her friends. The final act of You Love Me sees Joe recover from his wounds and marry the latest object of his desires, Mary Kay. Following the suicide of Mary's husband, Joe is free to pursue Mary, who inevitably falls for his charm and overt attentions. You Love Me seems to be heading for a picturebook ending, with Joe and Mary hastily tying the knot before disaster befalls the couple. Her teenage daughter kills Mary Kay in a heated argument, during which she is pushed down the stairs and falls to her death. To compound matters, Joe is then informed that his marriage to Mary Kay is not legitimate at the end of the book as they had not booked an officiant for their wedding. This ending is still very much on the updated cards for You season 4, with another disastrous end to a relationship a fitting way to round off Netflix's latest inevitably tumultuous You installment. One [book] always makes me want to do the next one. He was in so much pain at the end [of You Love Me]. All I knew was [that] this book is going to start with a bang of joy, because I like when that happens in life — when you go through hell and then you’re like, “Okay. I’m getting somewhere new.” giving yourself some therapy while getting paid thriller-series-contract money...that's great work if you can get it.Joe meets Wonder at a fellowship at Harvard, they are both writers who have written their own books (you go, Joe!), and they both received scholarships to attend, whereas everyone else in the fellowship is rich, privileged, and connected. He sees Wonder wearing a tight graphic t-shirt and it was love at first sight. I seriously love being inside Joe Goldberg’s head and I’m not sure what that says about me. It’s fine… While I always appreciate going into the mess that is Joe Goldberg's mind, it's starting to feel a little repetitive. Like reading a watered down version of book one. And while I did enjoy some of the side characters - Sarah Beth!!! - most of them felt like a passing fling. When we finally do get to the ending, it's more like a wimper than a bang. So where does that leave me now? Honestly? I don't know. Should there be, I'm not sure I'll continue the (book) series. Although ... if the book series mirrors the show, there will be only one more and I AM a completionist (sometimes). *lol* I never like to jinx things by being too specific one way or the other," she said. "I will say that we have a lot of stories still to tell. I am not scared at all of saying that we definitely could follow Joe for several more seasons."

What I didn’t like: Wonder….nope didn’t work and then the repetition of all the previous novels . Joe finds someone stalks them to then realize things aren’t happily ever after . But the idea of the fellowship didn’t work for me, it was too literary. And Sly and Glen didn’t work for me Ben Wiggins as Roald: Attractive, stylish, aristocratic and possessed of perfect manners, but there's rumors of a hidden dark side. Whether you want to hit the bars with your mates for a stag weekend, pop the prosecco in your private pool with the girls or have a family-friendly gathering in the sun, group bookings are easy with loveholidays. It’s not like I expected to fall in love, but the possibility would be nice—I am human, I am single—and all three of my female fellows are little Mrs. Tuffets [sic]. Visibly married. For You and Only You is another enjoyable edition to the Joe Goldberg series. I never thought I’d be so drawn to an antihero like I am with gool old Joe here. But his perspective is one I can’t get enough of. And while I found this book to be a tad too long for being a fourth book in a series, I still enjoyed watching joe HUNT for the love of his life… again. If you’re a fan of the series, then you won’t want to miss this one! It’s certainly one of my favorites.I liked the idea of Sarah Beth knowing about Joe’s past for about a chapter. Then when I realized she wasn't going to do anything with the info except use it for book inspo, I was like W H A T? Yes, it's established she's a psychopath, but really? She's not going to turn him in??? By the end of the book, I’m like if he doesn’t kill her… The nice thing is that it’s not a decision, it just happens naturally. And it’s all things that I love. So it was like, “I’m making this guy love everything I love, and yet he’s a f—ing psycho.” And then because those things mean so much to him, he’s going to –– as he meets people –– be very aware [of their taste]. That’s how he’s going to find connection or not. In this book: Joe restarts his new life in Harvard as an aspiring writer candidate, attracts a famous author’s attention with his talent and get approval to join tight- knit writing fellowship. And wait for it! All of his expenses are paid. But in the series, the producers carried Joe’s adventure to the UK. He will hang out with intellectual Oxford students. You could theoretically read every book separately but wouldn’t get many important references, character developments, plot points, etc. Will there be more You books? For You and You Only was so different from the previous three books, and I mean that in the worst way possible.
