About this deal

We also evaluate those battery life claims – both in terms of buds and charging case – to ensure we could give an accurate opinion on how long they will last in normal use. True wireless vs wireless: what's the difference? If you've been looking at over-ear headphones, you may notice that battery life is far better with those than wireless earbuds. It's simply down to size. Over-ear headphones are weightier and larger meaning there's more room for a powerful battery. The biggest downside here is the battery life. While you can get 16 hours of noise cancelling when you use the charging case, the earbuds themselves are only good for four hours of listening with ANC on. Otherwise, everything else about these earbuds is excellent, and the price is good too. The EarFun Air Pro 3 buds may not look special but they're a great pair of all-rounders. They bring you a good nine hours of battery life with an additional 36 from the case. There's also multipoint pairing on offer and some next-gen features that we couldn’t test yet for our review, but may soon make these buds even more special, including support for the highly-anticipatedBluetooth LE Audiotech.

Many users extol the virtues of the dynamic graphene drivers that pump out powerful, punchy bass notes and sparkling treble for an exuberant listening experience. The expansive soundstage immerses you in your music with crystal clarity and nuanced texture. According to users, orchestral scores and live concerts come to life in stunning detail that defies the earbuds’ compact size. Why you can trust TechRadar We spend hours testing every product or service we review, so you can be sure you’re buying the best. Find out more about how we test. These budget buds are great value, bringing you a solid build quality and top-notch audio performance with a killer battery life. These are all features you'd expect from a product that normally costs double the amount.Hear-through and ambient modes are important to you: Though the PurePlay Z3 2.0 claims to have listening modes that give you a better feel for your surroundings, they didn’t prove very useful in our testing. Many newer models now come with the ability to locate missing earbuds and/or their charging case using the manufacturer’s app. Some models are equipped with Apple’s Find My capability, which doesn’t require a third-party app if you’re using an iOS device. Apple also lets you flag its AirPods family of earbuds as missing within the Find My interface, which might help someone return them to you should they get lost. The JLab Go Air Pop are an incredibly accomplished pair of buds considering how cheap they are. Connectivity was instant and reliable throughout our testing, we also liked the simple on-ear volume controls. There's a mic in each earbud for call-handling, and you'll get basic EQ profiles too – triple tap either earpiece and you’ll hear the soothing voice say “balanced’, “bass boost” or “JLab signature”. Specific touch control function makes it more convenient, you can easily control it without operating the phone. Turn on the “sleep mode”, the T13 earbuds automatically shields the touch function to avoid accidental touch. Whether you are lying, sitting, or running, you can use it at ease. Sony's very best wireless audio tech is usually reserved for its flagship headphones and earbuds, currently the WH-1000XM5 and WF-1000XM5. However, it looks like the company is going break with that tradition -- partially, at least -- for its latest PlayStation gaming accessory, a set of wireless earbuds called the Pulse Explore.

These buds sound good, but it's the design that we really want to shout about. They have a cubist and cool aesthetic that's refreshingly different in a sea of similar-looking buds. They're also available in six delicious-sounding colorways (Caramel, Popsicle, Cupcake, Blueberry, Liquorice and Popcorn). Not only do they look good, they feel good too and fit comfortably for hours. Consequently, losing them as a result of one earpiece spontaneously slipping out of your ear is rather unlikely. However, if you’re the type of person who’d just plug them out of your ears and place them on the desk or wherever seems convenient, then perhaps true wireless earbuds aren’t the wisest investment for you. Granted, it’s not as if regular wireless earbuds have more room for these things, but they at least don’t have to maintain a wireless connection between the two earpieces, courtesy of the pesky wire. Plenty of true wireless models include a feature that allows you to monitor your surroundings without removing the earpieces. This is useful in offices and airports, as well as for runners who need to be aware of traffic and car horns. Not all true wireless earbuds with an ambient monitoring mode also include noise cancellation, but most of the ones we’ve tested do.Wear sensors will let you automatically pause your music or podcast when you remove one or both earbuds, and by extension, they’ll auto-resume the tunes when you reinsert them. This is very handy for conversations, but as long as you don’t mind pressing the play/pause button, it’s not a must-have. Most let you turn the feature on and off, but for some, it’s always on. Wireless charging The Uaue Q13 Wireless Earbuds has a compact and lightweight design in a sleek white-silver color scheme. The charging case features an LED battery level display. Features and Controls Perhaps most praise is lavished on the marathon 35-hour battery life. Users are amazed they can go days between charges thanks to the long-lasting built-in battery and revolving door of extra charging from the case. Frequent travelers are especially pleased with the extended playtime that frees them from constantly hunting for power outlets in transit. It’s not the most energetic sound you've ever heard though. And marginal shortcomings related to battery life and the effectiveness of the active noise-cancellation confirm that Technics has missed the bull’s-eye by a tiny margin with the EAH-AZ80. They will be absolutely perfect for some customers, mind you…
