About this deal

With topics ranging from history and geography to literature, pop culture, and food, Smart Ass will make the most of your collective brain power. Price: More than worth it Shouting Allowed: Play Smart Ass, the game where it's ok to yell out the answer, even when it's not your turn! Hard Ass – there are a separate pile of Hard Ass questions as this is effectively a bonus question space. Only the player who has landed on this space gets to answer the Hard Ass question. If they get it right then they can roll the Jumbo Movement Die again for a bonus move. If they answer incorrectly then play just moves on as if it had never happened!

However, there’s actually plenty of questions throughout the entire game that you might not be able to answer regardless of your age.

Diaries & Calendars

Should there only be two players, the player that doesn’t land on the Dumb Ass Space gets to roll the number die and move the corresponding number of spaces. The game then continues normally with both players playing the next round. Hard Ass Space If their answer is not correct, they are out for that round. If the answer is correct, then that player wins the round. Smart Ass is all about showing off if you know the answer. Or even if you just think you do. It’s perfectly acceptable to shout out the answer and totally goes against the way that some kids feel that it’s not right to be seen to be smart. How to play Smart Ass If no one answers the question correctly after the last clue is given, then the player who asked the question wins the round.

If no player can be separated as the winner, then a tie-breaker question (from the "hard ass" category) is needed to be asked. The winner of the game is the first person to land on “The End” and you don’t need a correct number on the Jumbo Movement Die to do so. They are the ultimate Smart Ass. What we thought of Smart AssYou move your token the number of spaces on the movement die and keep moving until you reach the end of the game board. Should no one guess the answer correctly, the reader gets to roll the number die and move their playing piece the corresponding number of spaces. A starting player is now chosen and he rolls the category die (colored die). Usually, the oldest smart ass player is chosen to be the reader of the first question.

The reader continues to read clues until one of the players guess correctly. The player that guesses correctly rolls the number die and moves the corresponding number of spaces. After guessing the correct answer to the round’s card, the player rolled a two on the number die. The yellow player moved their playing piece forward two spaces. Each question card lists 8 clue on it. Starting at the top of the list the player reads down the clues and other players can shout out an answer at any time. But, players only get one go at answering each question. So, if they get it wrong they’re frozen out responding to the rest of the clues. Answer Correctly and Win: Be the first to answer the who, What, and where Am I questions, and move closer to being the ultimate Smart Ass

In the rare occasion when two people answer the question at the same time, you’re going to need to decide for yourself who should be given the points.

That means that no-one is going to have a better chance than someone else when it comes to getting the big win. That means that if you have someone in your family who you often think of as a know-it-all, they’re not guaranteed to win every game.
