To its credit, the way Biomutant fuses all its components together has resulted in something that is actually unique, at least broadly speaking. The key disappointment is that the structure of the actual game that all these ingredients have been injected into is anything but unique, with objectives and tasks overtly recycled or riffed upon mission after mission. In most post-apocalyptic games it would come to mind that in a span of a couple hundred years 98% of stuff would've been looted already, right? Well, here we are. Finding the last remnants that were'nt found yet.

Sure it's AA but it's a fair game for a small studio and fair more interesting in world/dialogue approach with a narrator than most AAA snorefests copy and pasting and not enough mechanical ideas and just flare that reviewers give a pass to because it's shiny and big voice actors who cares.
