About this deal

This book collects her two companion novellas, Fracture Me and Destroy Me, in print for the first time ever. It also features an exclusive look into Juliette’s journal and a preview of Ignite Me, the hotly anticipated final novel of the series. Jullietts "i am not insane" repeated over and over is immitating Carden's letter to Jude in the Cruel Prince (I also remember seeing the same thing in another older book but cant remember the name) The story was cut down a little bit. It connected the events of books 2 and 3. Although not as intimate as Destroy Me, I did gain a profound understanding of Adam’s love for his sibling. In addition, we learned what led up to the first chapter of Ignite Me. Critics The strikeouts took a few chapters to get comfortable with in Shatter Me & was a little distracting at first. However, the significance, importance, and absolute relevance of them become so PERFECTLY clear as Juliette's character transitions throughout a strikeout free Ignite Me. They served to show the magnitude of her personal growth, inner strength, & discovered clarity. So, please don't let the strikeouts deter you from this series! They weren't just for show!

And Omega Point (rebels really cool little hideout) just seems to be used as a stage for Juliette and Adams relationship (if you can even call it that) drama. I mean come on! So much potential to make me fall in love and be dying to go to Omega Point and its just tarnished by stupid arguments. This at least is pointed out by the fantastic Kenji, who straight up lets them know that they are being dumb. (Kenji is fab btw). Seriously, I couldn't get over how weird and crazy Warner was and then alluva sudden he's all mushy with Juliette and calling her "Love", and I have to say.... their chemistry was.... weird. I dunno, it just wasn't sitting right with me. I don’t call you Addie in front of anyone else!” James says, protesting before I have a chance to. “I don’t know why it makes you so mad. You said you loved it when Mom called you Addie. Why can’t I?” LMAO. A boring novella about a boring bowl of oatmeal. Yawn. Doesn’t add anything of importance. Just solidifies my hatred for Adam.I nod, look away. “Yeah. Me too.” I pull a shirt on over my head. “So Kenji’s gone then, huh? I can’t believe he’d just leave like that.” Love, optimism, self-discovery, and inner fortitude are common themes in her literature, as are other aspects of the human experience. Never mind all that bec. Like any dark romance mafia, Tahere set out to make Warner the ultimate book boyfriend I am baffled by the fact that people find their relationship romantic. I am deeply saddened by the fact that "broken" characters somehow are given the okay to horrifically damage their partners in the name of love. As if the fact that they love this person makes it okay that they hurt them in these ways.

Me: Destroy Me and Fracture Me (Shatter Me Novellas) Unite Me: Destroy Me and Fracture Me (Shatter Me Novellas)

Adam Kent? Is the equivalent to Tamlin the Tool. The amount of times I wanted to slap both him and Juliette- Hey,” I say, meeting him across the room. “Hey, hey.” I grip his shoulders, drop to one knee. “What’s going on? Why the tears? What happened?” On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam's newly discovered half brother, won't be that easy. The Reestablishment can't tolerate a rebellion, and they'll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about. Set during and soon after the final moments of Unravel Me, Fracture Me is told from Adam’s perspective.

Shatter Me Series by Tahereh Mafi - Goodreads

But this is not surprising since both Acotar and shatter me got the idea from a Turkish novel "Heart Beats" The storyline is not pristine. There are many flaws, and many reasons to believe Mafi simply wanted to write a love story, but more on that later. I went into the Shatter Me series very skeptical. I'd heard the strikeouts were annoying and that the writing style was strange and confusing. Well, I absolutely couldn't disagree more! With the Shatter Me series, Mafi cemented herself as an A-list writer on my score sheet. but the obvious immitation was the ACOTAR theme of hating on the first love interest to make way for the grey red flag character

Rein it in, man.” Ian cuts me off. “We’ve got other problems. And hey”—he grabs my shoulder, looks me in the eye—“you’re not the only one who’s pissed at Castle. But now’s not the time.” Tahere is a Muslim female writer. So i wished had she made J. The white blond and Warner a POC.bec as it is, it showed her white man hero complex I've never been a fan of lyrical'esc writing, that with endless strains of metaphors and descriptions about a leaf or some trivial tidbit that takes up multiple paragraphs. However, What the novellas do is provide extra insight into the world of Shatter Me. They’re often from a different POV. For instance, Destroy Me, the first novella, is from Warner’s POV. He is the villain of the first novel.
