Nice fiberglass paddle included: The included paddle is good quality and felt quite rigid, without much flex at all. Incredible performance: The Sport has a narrow nose and streamlined shape, features that help it glide without much resistance. It’s such a fast and playful paddle board that’s so fun to paddle. And then you have the best selling point of this board: it’s absolutely jaw-dropping looks-wise. Out of all the boards on our best inflatable paddle board list, this one of our favorite from a looks/design standpoint. The only downside to how cool this board looks is that you are going to get mauled with questions about it every time you pump the board up at the lake or ocean.

Versatile design: This is one of my favorite all-around boards, particularly for larger folk. The extra length means it’s faster in the water than the Gili Meno, while still being super stable – plus the Bote RAC system allows you to configure it to your needs. The Gili Komodo is designed to be Gili’s most versatile option–and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a nice, stable all-around SUP that you can use anywhere, for pretty much any inflatable paddle boarding activity.While finding a board that has the right specs for your height, weight and the type of paddling you’ll be doing is important, so is considering your budget. Width: The wider the board, the more stable it will feel. However, a wider board will create more drag and may feel more sluggish in the water One thing I have learned about iSUPs is that the price does matter. There is a distinct difference between cheap paddle boards and more expensive paddle boards. Sub-standard accessories: BOTE’s accessories aren’t bad, but for the price you pay for this board, I’d expect a carbon fiber paddle and a better pump. I’d also expect you to get a leash with the board. If you’re a larger paddler, I’d recommend getting the 11’6 Bote Breeze Aero. This 10’8 version is stable and can handle your weight but you’ll get better performance from the longer version.

The Cruiser Ultra’s 300-pound capacity is at the high end for a compact board. It’s stable and rigid enough to transport two people or one person and their gear, as long as you spread the weight out across the board. Best Family SUP, high weight capacity yet lightweight construction makes it easy for kids to carry, paddle, or ride along as passengers. I am 5.8″ 165lb and athletic/good balance. You can use it in the sea, lake, and river, regardless of whether the water is salty or fresh. Some of the activities you can use the board for include fishing, snorkeling, recreational paddling, and yoga. SUP It comes with a bungee system at the front and another removable rear bungee for all your paddling essentials. The board also comes with Scotty mounts and extra D-rings for gear and accessories. Complete beginners will want to focus on a board that can get them started and help them feel confident right from the start.
