Created by the laboratory of the same name, the Aspivenin brand specialises in the design and distribution of fast and reliable anti-venom products, facilitating the extraction of venom in seconds or minutes depending on the type of bite. Frenchman André Emerit, a lifelong inventor who had entered and won a competition to make a mini-pump. Most often after a sting, there is a more or less strong pain according to the nature of the aggressor and the quantity of venom injected. An indispensable first aid device for every family’s medicine chest, present in every first aid kit, ASPIVENIN®pump is a mini-pump which sucks out venom in the case of toxic bites and stings. Pulmonary signs with bronchio-spasms (asthma attacks); digestive signs (diarrheas, abdominal pain, vomiting); neurological signs with confusion, extreme anxiety and a feeling of imminent death, symtoms like dysphagia (difficulties with swallowing), dysphonia (difficulties with speaking), and dyspnea (laboured breathing) are signs of seriousness.

Doing so creates a vacuum under the cup - and this is strong enough to miraculously draw the sting back out while leaving the skin intact.The pack weighs just 100gm and is easy to use with one hand so that you can administer it without any help. This device has so far removed the poison by creating a vacuum against the skin for one minute or more and drawing it to the surface.

The old unit had four nozzle attachments and the new one has only two - but those are the ones I have used so that's OK. This pump works with a double chamber system with a piston locking at the end of the stroke that causes an instantaneous and permanent depression of about 800 millibars, the equivalent of ten times the oral suction. It’s a suction mini-pump which painlessly removes all injected venom from insects ( wasps, bees, horseflies, hornets…), arachnids ( spiders, scorpions, harvest ticks…), fish ( weevers, scorpion fish…) as well as certain rash-inducing plants. There may be ophtalmological signs (conjunctivitis), but also pharyngitis and laryngitis (Quincke’s edema) and these can lead to the obstruction of upper-body air passages. Most often slight, just on the skin or mucus area but far from the sting (a rash), it may be accompanied by anxiety and malaise.

As it is made from high-quality medical materials, Aspivenin will last and last; all you have to do is to wash the nozzle in soapy water after use.

Loosely place the tip that best fits the type and location of the sting or bite and then arm the pump by pulling the plunger fully (half for a child). Aspivenin works to painlessly remove all injected venom from insects, arachnids, fish and certain rash-induing plants.At the extreme end of the scale there is a weakening of the cardio-vascular system with anaphylactic shock and collapse (falling blood pressure), leading to death in the absence of emergency therapy.
