Packer has reunited with Reebok for an all-new take on the outdoors-inspired DMX Trail Shadow, acting as a follow up to last month’s Answer IV collaboration.
The mudguards have been amplified for more protection in the outdoors sitting atop its signature DMX Shear sole built for comfort. The base is also accompanied by synthetic black overlays at the toe and the heel, black rope laces, matching olive TPU cage, orange lining and technical mesh panel at the tongue. The DMX Trail Shadow sneakers blend an archival aesthetic with DMX SHEAR cushioning tech for a versatile feel.In other footwear news, YEEZY’s Cesar Idrobo recently discussed his love of the Reebok Instapump Fury. Other design details include a rugged outsole, topstitched upper and “DMX Shear” text on the medial midsole. The technical sneaker dons a two-tone upper, combining a “Pure Grey” base with a dusty teal “Green Slate” shade covering the mudguard and outsole. Drawing from vintage military garments, the upper of the shoe is constructed of technical mesh done in olive drab accented by heat welding and high-vis 3M/orange webbing. Prior to this exclusive drop, Packer has collaborated with Reebok several times in the past and their most recent sneaker project arrived in January with the release of their “Ultramarine” Answer IV.Reebok and Eastlogue markings on the tongue, CrossFit Delta logos at the midfoot and printed insoles serve as branding elements. However, this latest addition to the DMX Trail Shadow family comes coated in a “Pure Grey 3,”“Pure Grey 7,” and “Core Black” color scheme and has been designed as a running or hiking shoe that can be worn when navigating off-road terrains or for city living.
Titled “Approach” the classic DMX Trail Shadow silhouette has been deconstructed for a more streamlined look.
New Jersey-based boutique Packer Shoes will have the honor of releasing this pair, an updated version of the DMX Trail Shadow.
