I don’t need to know anything about the book, a synopsis, featured characters or locations because all I know is that I’m going on another adventure in Cornwall and I cannot wait. When we meet Thea she’s not looking for romance as she thinks she likes someone else but isn’t entirely sure. But I think the series has become so well established and we have even moved away from the original setting, although not too far, that perhaps the title is slightly misleading at this stage. The menu also features a boggling mix of homemade cakes, sandwiches, burgers and all the seaside delights you would hope to see from whitebait to battered cod – perfect for a refuel as you walk around the Lizard peninsula. Not only are the scones freshly baked and the clotted cream Rodda’s (of course), but you’ll get to enjoy sweeping views across National Trust farmland and glittering sea as you feast on clotted cream and jam. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or simply a thoughtful surprise, our delectable treats are the perfect choice!

I am sure every reader will love our new main character Thea because she has a dream I am sure most of us keen readers have had at some point through our lives!
Thea is not about to miss out on the holiday she had been looking forward to, so she decides to pack her bags and holiday solo. Surrounded by the beautiful coast that makes up the Lizard peninsula, and only a stunning walk away from the popular Kynance Cove, Polpeor Café is a jaw-dropping spot to settle down for a bite to eat. It’s always jam first at Buckingham Palace garden parties, using homemade Balmoral jam followed by clotted cream and a perfectly brewed pot of tea. The reader can instantly tell that Ben has secrets and a backstory and you know over time that Thea will try and delve that little bit deeper and get to the heart of the man that is Ben.
