true, the only reason i read it myself was because i came across it when making YA list for work, and i was all "SECRETS?I'd seen this book talked about so heavily by other bloggers and how some never saw the twist coming or how others totally saw that twist coming. Violence lurks beneath the golden life that Cady and her family enjoy on Beechwood Island, and there's an accident that causes death. Hands down, this is by far the most amazing book I've read so far this year, and possibly a good part of last year. It's believable for a second, but then the reader understands that this is only a metaphor for him leaving her during her parent's divorce.
I couldn’t be so excited to start the prequel of one of the most mind blowing, shocking, surprising stories I’ve ever read! I have a theory about this book that I'm really excited to discuss so I'm going to make a video about it! Her work feels so much more polished and refined now, the voice of this novel feels a lot more mature and something that I really enjoyed. Cadence and the other older cousins (Johnny and Mirren) along with Gat Patil (the nephew of Carrie's partner Ed) are known by the family as "The Liars".The Liars are composed of her cousins Mirren, Johnny, and the outcast "Healthcliff," Indian love interest, Gat. the prequel follows 17 year old Caroline “Carrie” Sinclair, one of the three Sinclair sisters and Johnny’s (from We Were Liars) mother, during one unforgettable summer.
