About this deal

With Yamaha, you know you will be getting pretty solid quality, and a brand which the name speaks for itself – many advocates for Yamaha in the music world. You can play chords, but you will be hard pressed to discern the notes within even the simplest triads. Although there are certainly cheaper guitars on the market, they are probably not products you will want to use.

It's also worth noting that this beautiful guitar comes in three distinct finish options, natural Mahogany, aged Mahogany, and Satin Vintage Sunburst. The FG800 is a bit more expensive than the Yamaha F335, but it is of better quality and produces a better sound compared to the F335. Gone is the usual color palette of beige and brown in favor of the legendary custom finishes Fender is known for, with the likes of Candy Apple Red, Champagne, Olive Satin, and Ice Blue Satin all making an appearance. Bring this one along with your journey and you will love singing along with some tunes like “hey Jude, don’t make it bad…… na, na, na, na na na na! Tried and true combinations such as a spruce top and rosewood back and sides offer a well-balanced tone that the majority of players enjoy. But just because they’ve done good things in the past, that doesn’t mean everything they do is perfect, right? But just because they have made some good stuff in the past, doesn’t mean that everything that they make is perfect, right? But if you’re learning, high action can be a real buzzkill because it requires more significant effort to push the strings down far enough and hard enough to get a sound and to get a sound without any accompanying fret buzz. For many players, when they think of cheap – but well-made – acoustic guitars, they immediately think of Tanglewood, especially our brothers over the pond, where Tanglewood is officially Britain's best-selling acoustic guitar maker. But on closer inspection, you’ll find that it isn’t only budget-friendly but also an impressive option for intermediate players.

If you are looking for a reliable – yet affordable – on-stage companion, the Alvarez Regent Series RG260CESB electric-acoustic may just be the ticket. If you’re looking to mainly play the guitar just for yourself, practice, play in a small band, or play in a small venue, the Yamaha F335 is an excellent choice.Near the end of the guitar we’ll see the spruce top is a standard modern tonewood, an elegant type of wood often seen used to make sound boards for various instruments. The laminate design is made to have a classic look that musicians of every skill level are sure to appreciate. Yamaha is mostly known in the US for their vehicles–motorcycles, snowmobiles and even boats–but in Japan, Yamaha has been making instruments for over 60 years. Other features of the FG800 include a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, black and white body binding, die-cast tuners, and a tortoise pickguard.

In our view, this is a great guitar for strummers or finger-pickers alike, as it has a tone that feels equally at home with either technique. With all of their knowledge, Yamaha still comes up short; the action on the F335 guitars, out of the box, is atrocious–it is so high that most new guitarists will develop wrist pain simply trying to fret one of the strings. The vocal accompaniment also helps us for the future in case you’d like to sing yourself, perhaps get some friends together to join a band or strum around a fire at your next camping trip. So before we can come up with a list of affordable guitars, we first must decide what we mean by "cheap". Yamaha’s F335 presents an affordable option for guitarists, and while it’s not the most advanced instrument on the market, it does what it’s supposed to do.

The new “Hybrid Parabolic Boom” seamlessly fuses the punch, tonal balance, and clarity of Larrivée bracing, with the bass response, depth, and volume expected from a Dreadnought. The guitar has a mahogany or nato neck and the body is made of tropical tonewood – this is a popular wood for the acoustic guitar that is famous for its mid-range.
