Lancôme launched its first fragrance in its very first year and didn’t have to wait long for the adoration of the public. Then it goes through puberty and thinks that velvet track suits with the word "sexy" printed in glitter and rhinestone on her ass is the epitome of class. I still have this very bottle, the first bottle I bought and I pull it out occasionally and spray it on and it fills me with so much nostalgia and happiness. To me, this comes off as a versatile fragrance that you can reach for in pretty much any season and for any occasion. It makes me want to scrub my skin with industrial detergents and burn the clothes that came in contact with that decoction and claw at my face while screaming "WHYYYYYYYY? Its what I imagine my mother wearing although I love it and wear it, I am definitely more of the midnight rose at my early 30s and my preteens as teens and young 20s on up to wear Nova angel (tho my mom with her never growing old peter pan mentality would be wearing Nova out of the bunch). I don't think that this fragrance is at all bad, but I don't think it will ever set the world on fire.
Once you get over the initial raspberry shock, it settles into a more smokier, musky raspberry and rose. It is surely a sensual, sexy scent for a gorgeous woman in a long, black dress who is on her way to attend an upscale cocktail party. Those two reviews alone show how really a lot of reviews need to be taken with a pinch of salt and that perfumes can smell very different to different people, and that everyone has their own unique chemistry that brings out different aspects of perfumes on their skin. this little gem is like thousand times fresher than half of the male (yep, male) fragrances produced every year since invictus and Y became popular.
Its unique scent, often associated with Angel Nova due to the raspberry note, still maintains its distinct personality. I think the pepper and the cassis add nothing to this perfume, it makes it smell like it's gone rancid or something. However, I have persisted, and while I’m still not totally sold on the opening, I’m coming to enjoy the dry down. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.I could use just Trésor flankers :D: in spring and summer Trésor in Love, the original and La Nuit Trésor Nude, during colder months La Nuit Trésor, the original, La Nuit Trésor Nude and this one. My arms and hands are considerably colder than the rest of my body, and on my arms it's almost straight pepper, though from my chest, which is warm, I do get the slight sweetness of the raspberry and rose mixing together, and some smokiness is in the background. If you like lychee and don't want something cloying or with patchouli, you'll probably enjoy this one. The fragrance opens with the fresh and juicy texture of raspberry and the queen of floral notes, the rose. Really wanted to like this one as I looked for a raspberry-rose, but the pink pepper is too prominent on me.
It’s the swanky bar’s house special cocktail, which makes you feel giggly and a bit flushed as you sip it down through the night. However the simple break down is yes those specific fragrances are in the same genre but different enough I can have them without guilt (except very good girl I have not yet smelled this). It is important to note that the longevity factor alone should not be the sole determinant in choosing a perfume. It definitely has some generic vibes to it, due to its fruity sweetness, but it has a sophisticated spin thanks to the cedar and pepper notes, which make it zesty and refreshing. This fragrance has definitely been reformulated… I used to own a bottle from 2017, the scent was strong, sweet, dark, and had that rosy/berry jammy style to it and longevity was huge!
A new addition to the emblematic TRÉSOR series, which shows us the most naughty and mischievous face of the woman who wears it. The pink pepper, the musk and the wood in Trésor Midnight Rose does soften and cut through the sweetness somewhat thankfully, but I honestly think more musk in the base and less raspberry and vanilla would have made this fragrance so much better. It smells okay from the nozzle, a slightly jammy rose, but dries down quite sharp and green, I was hoping the other notes would cover up the rose a bit since I don't love the smell of roses.Ageless in its appeal, this fragrance stands independently, offering a unique and individual essence. Eau de Toilette (EDT): EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. Forget about all the other notes - Midnight Rose is raspberry lemonade, but a classy *adult* raspberry lemonade. An aroma that shines for its elegance, its sophistication and its distinction in the sector of high perfumery.
