The girls show a great amount of interest whenever I bring my supplies out and I wanted to be able to include them more and more. Its smaller brush clips into the hinged lid while a trough below the canvas holds your water and collects drips.
I love when other parents share what their children enjoying playing with – it always helps me figure out what to introduce into our own toy rotation. This board is larger than the typical Buddha Board and doesn't have what I don't need (a stand and a water holder). There are no matter stakes to be made, only awareness of how a brush works and the tension or flow of the brush strokes and then the marks evaporate and a clean slate is presented. Claire happily paints on our chalkboard too but I am loving the compact design of this easel, it can move about the house so easily and offering it in new locations keeps it appealing. The brush has a built in resting place on the stand, the board leans back at a 30 degree angle for easy painting.Someone I knew suggested the Buddha board to me so I thought I would try it out however, the quality of this Buddha board is atrocious!
