Escape from Alcatraz is about the escape of prisoners from the horrible jail and island of Alcatraz. For some reason I thought this would be more like a novel, but it reads more of a documentary (although very interesting, regardless! While leading the New York Yankees to five World Series Championships and achieving myriad milestones and accomplishments on and off the field, including 13 All-Star nods and membership in baseball's exclusive 3,000-hit club, Jeter has established a reputation of unparalleled character, credibility, dedication, and excellence. He's an ex-FBI agent who's been fired for insubordination but is lured back to the Bureau to work a case that has become more unsolvable - and more deadly - by the hour. I had to look at the hints for most of the puzzles and needed the answers in the back for over half.I chose to listen to this book rather than read it because I got the impression that it would be an awful lot to take in and could at parts be quite boring. It’s not enough to spoil the experience, but for readers already frustrated that the escape book is too difficult, it might be the last straw.

The main idea of my story is three men are trying to escape the rock(Alcatraz) the three men are named Morris, Clarence, Alfred. A warm, unsentimental and beautifully-observed book for our times' Lucy Caldwell, author of These Days 'If I were in bother I'd want the Ballybrady bunch at my back. During Alcatraz's 29 years as a federal penitentiary, there were 14 documented escape attempts involving 34 inmates. If like me you've always wanted to learn more about Alcatraz and what went on over there then this is definitely the book for you. It was a quick, but fun “read” (short audiobook, less than 2 hours or even 1 hour if you have it on double speed🤪).
