The Rain Train Travelling Sprinkler is a fantastic little product that is cost effective but easy to setup and operate. It is believed to be one of the only solid forged versions of a half moon edging tool making it one of the strongest in the market. When using a GEKA style Claw-Lock coupling it is likely that the depth of the thread will not be sufficient to eliminate the sideways movement in the brass screw connector attached to the plastic gear box. Also don't expect it to do more than 75 feet and you should get consistent service over the long haul.

Variables This watering train, (it looks more like a tractor to me), has a two speed transmission – low and high.Rear view with a 19mm (¾ inch) male threaded Snap-On style connector fitted into the brass screw connector. There are two large wheels in the back, with cleats that dig into the lawn and moves the system along. The body is made of cast iron, the manufacturer says it is “rust resistant”, but our old sprinkler is indeed starting to rust a bit. The hose can be up to 200 feet long, with the Rain Train at one end, and the shut-off ramp at the other.
